Here's the deal:  you message me with your address and I will send you something.  A postcard, a letter, a mix cd, a piece of art.... you get the idea.  Something in your mailbox beside bills and junkmail, something that will hopefully make you smile.  No strings attached -- you can send something back if you want, but it's certainly not required.

The Blacksmith

Head down, spirit up,
I unfold slowly before you,
led by your unflagging persistence.

Things I tell myself; honor and harmony.

Sometimes you have to create your own magic, rather than waiting around for it to manifest all on its own. You have to take that chance, no one's going to do it for you. You have to say to the universe, 'This is what I want, this is what I am searching for. Now show me where it's hiding!' Don't pull back from that edge where you could become vulnerable, let someone see inside. Let that smile spread across your face. Do the things that make you happy because otherwise, what was the point of getting through the bad things? There has to be that soul payoff in the end to make it worthwhile. Never stop looking for ways to challenge yourself. Always keep reaching. Plant seeds everywhere, literally and figuratively. Slow down and cook for those you love. Remember to make a little art everyday. Help others, but don't drag or carry them. Take time to feel the sun and the wind. Dance in the rain, sing in the shower. Love honestly and without expectation. Don't take things so personally. Remember that everyone has their own truth. Find yours and then keep adapting and revising it. Go to bed blissfully exhausted, smiling softly, watching that flickering candle flame. Dream.
